Frequently Asked Questions
What is included in a Dirndl set?
A Dirndl set most commonly includes the Dirndl (with bodice, skirt and apron) and a matching Dirndl blouse. Some sets include all three pieces separately. The exact contents are listed in the individual product description.
Is a Dirndl set worth it, or should I buy individual pieces?
A set is worth it for first-time buyers, when you do not have existing individual pieces, when you do not want to spend time mixing and matching, or when you are buying a gift. Individual pieces are the better choice when you are looking for a new blouse or when the Dirndl and blouse need to be different sizes.
What sizes do Dirndl sets come in?
Our Dirndl sets are available in sizes 32 to 54. Bust circumference determines the size. If you are unsure, go up one size, as a bodice that is too tight cannot be adjusted.
Are there Dirndl sets for formal occasions?
Yes. Alongside festival sets, there are formal sets in deeper colors with longer skirts and high-quality blouses with lace. Suitable for weddings, balls and receptions.
How much does a Dirndl set cost on average?
Festival sets start at around 80 euros. Higher-quality sets from Krüger are usually between 150 and 300 euros. During sales, sets are often 30 to 50 percent off.
