HOW IT WORKS
How your return works
1. Pack the item
Add the completed return slip that came with your package. Send the goods back within 14 days of receipt, important: the package must be sent before this deadline.
2. Stick on the return label
🇩🇪 For Germany: The prepaid return label is already inside your package. Just stick it on, done.
🌍 International: For now, please arrange your own shipping label with a carrier of your choice.
3. Drop off & receive refund
Drop the package off at a parcel station or shipping point and send it to our return address (see below). Once your package reaches us, you'll receive your refund within 14 days, directly to your original payment method.

Return deadline
Please return the goods within 14 days of receipt. What counts is the shipping date, not the date the package reaches us. Important: Make sure to send the package before this deadline expires.
🇩🇪 Return label Germany
A prepaid return label is included in your package. Simply attach it and drop off the parcel. We will deduct a flat fee of 7.00 € for the return shipping from your refund.
🌍 Return label International
Please obtain a return label from a shipping provider of your choice. We are currently building our own returns portal where you can request a label directly from us in the future.
Note for returns from the USA: Please use the original tracking number from our delivery on your return label – it is required for customs clearance.
🇬🇧 Additional information for orders from the United Kingdom
For returns, we will refund the full purchase price as well as all import duties and taxes paid at checkout. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.

Under Canadian consumer protection laws, you have the right to return your order within 14 days. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer. For returns, we will refund the full purchase price as well as all import duties and taxes paid at checkout. Refund within 15 days to the same payment method. Once your return has been received, we will refund the amount within 14 days to the same payment method you used for your order. For orders to the United Kingdom and Canada, the refund also includes the import duties and taxes paid at checkout. You will receive an update in your customer account once the return arrives.
DIRNDL FIT
So your Dirndl fits like a glove
Bodice & bust. A Dirndl bodice fits tight and shapes the figure, that's the point. Go by your bust measurement, not your usual dress size.
Waist. The waistband should sit on your natural waist, the narrowest point between chest and hips.
Skirt length. Midi (approx. 65-75 cm) for Oktoberfest and folk festivals, Long (approx. 85-95 cm) for weddings and formal occasions.
Dirndl blouse. Dirndl blouses are cut close to the body. If you're between sizes, go for the smaller one, it shouldn't bunch up under the bodice.
Tip: You'll find the size chart on every product page. Measure yourself with a soft measuring tape before ordering. If you're unsure, drop us a line, we'll help you pick the right size.

Return label included in every package
No label to print, no portal to find. In Germany, your prepaid return label is right inside the package. Stick it on, drop it off, done.
Refund within 14 days
As soon as your return arrives, we refund you within 14 days to your original payment method. You'll get an update in your customer account.
Return portal for international orders
For customers outside Germany, we're building our own return portal where you'll soon be able to get your label directly from us, in one click, no research needed.

Everything about returns - briefly explained
Returns
You have 14 days from receiving the goods. What counts is the shipping date, the day you drop off the package at FedEx or Hermes, not the day it arrives back to us. So make sure to send your package within this deadline.
For orders from Germany we deduct a flat €7.00 from your refund. The prepaid return label is already in your package, so you don't have to print or pay anything extra. For international returns, you currently arrange shipping yourself with a carrier of your choice.
Yes. Sale items follow the same return conditions as all other products: 14-day return window, €7 return fee for Germany, full refund of the amount paid.
No problem. Just drop us an email at retouren@areohandel.com, we'll send you a new label right away.
The item should be unused, undamaged, and have all tags attached. The original packaging is not strictly required, but it makes processing easier and protects the goods during return shipping.
Once your return has reached us and been checked, we'll refund the amount within 14 days to the same payment method you used. You'll get an update in your customer account as soon as your return is registered.
For now, you arrange your own return label with a shipping carrier of your choice. Important for returns from non-EU countries: Be sure to use the original tracking number from our delivery on your return label - it's needed for customs clearance. Right of withdrawal pursuant to § 312g German Civil Code

Withdrawal notice
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (AReO Handel GmbH, Regina-Ullmann-Straße 45, 81927 Munich, Germany, e-mail: retouren@areohandel.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
If you use the prepaid return label we provide, we will deduct a flat amount of €7.00 for return shipping from your refund.
We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods unless you use our prepaid return label (see above).
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following contracts:
Contracts for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if their seal has been removed after delivery.
