Frequently asked return questions
How long do I have to return my order?
You have 14 days from receiving the goods. What counts is the shipping date, the day you drop off the package at FedEx or Hermes, not the day it arrives back to us. So make sure to send your package within this deadline.
How much does the return cost?
For orders from Germany we deduct a flat €7.00 from your refund. The prepaid return label is already in your package, so you don't have to print or pay anything extra. For international returns, use our returns portal: download a return label there (its cost is deducted from your refund) or use your own label. Either way, you bear the return shipping costs.
What if I can't find the return label anymore?
No problem. Just drop us an email at retouren@areohandel.com, we'll send you a new label right away.
Does the item have to be returned in its original packaging?
The item should be unused, undamaged, and have all tags attached. The original packaging is not strictly required, but it makes processing easier and protects the goods during return shipping.
Can I return sale items?
Yes. Sale items follow the same return conditions as all other products: 14-day return window, €7 return fee for Germany, full refund of the amount paid.
When will I get my money back?
Once your return has reached us and been checked, we'll refund the amount within 14 days to the same payment method you used. You'll get an update in your customer account as soon as your return is registered.

Why is €7 deducted for the return?
We only pass on the actual shipping cost, with no markup. In return, the prepaid label is already in your parcel and you never pay anything upfront. That keeps our prices fairly calculated.

Right of withdrawal pursuant to § 312g German Civil Code

Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (AReO Handel GmbH, Regina-Ullmann-Straße 45, 81927 Munich, Germany, e-mail: retouren@areohandel.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Consequences of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
If you use the prepaid return label we provide, we will deduct a flat amount of €7.00 for return shipping from your refund.
We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods unless you use our prepaid return label (see above).
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following contracts:
Contracts for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if their seal has been removed after delivery.
