Refund policy

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you or a third party named by you (who is not the carrier) has taken possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (AReO Handel GmbH, Regina-Ullmann-Straße 45, 81927 Munich, Germany, Email: retouren@areohandel.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email). You may use the attached withdrawal form template, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the notification regarding your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Returns from the USA
If you are returning an item from the United States, please note that you are responsible for the postage costs. You must include the original tracking number of our shipment on the return shipping label. This tracking number must match the one from the parcel you received from us, as it is required for proper customs clearance. Without it, your return may be delayed or refused. We appreciate your cooperation!

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs arising from your choice of a delivery method other than the standard, least expensive delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we receive notice of your withdrawal.

For orders to the United Kingdom and Canada, the refund also includes the import duties and taxes paid at checkout.

If you use the prepaid return label provided by us, a flat fee of €7.00 will be deducted from your refund to cover return shipping costs.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; in no case will you be charged any fees for the refund.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the date on which you notify us of the withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods, unless you use our prepaid return label (see above).
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling not necessary for examining the condition, properties, and functioning of the goods.

Exclusions from the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following contracts:

– Contracts for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if their seal has been removed after delivery.

Easy Returns

We aim to make your return process as simple as possible.

📦 Return form included
You’ll find a return slip and prepaid return label in your parcel. Please fill in the return form and include it in the return shipment.

💸 Return shipping costs
If you use our prepaid return label, we will deduct a flat rate of €7.00 from your refund to cover return shipping expenses.

📬 Self-paid return
Alternatively, you may return the items at your own expense using a shipping carrier of your choice. Please send the parcel to the return address stated above.

🌍 International orders (outside Germany)
For orders outside Germany, use our returns portal: enter your order number and email address and select the items you wish to return. There you can download a return label whose shipping costs are deducted from your refund, or use your own label from a carrier of your choice. Either way, you bear the return shipping costs.

📥 Refund after inspection
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will automatically issue your refund – minus the return fee if applicable. If we have any questions, we’ll reach out via email.
